To start the year, we added an electric opening gate!

We have a new storage barn next to our shotgun range.

We installed a shelter on Pistol Bay 2

Speed limit signs are now posted

Guestbook disabled

It was great to be able to hear from everyone through the guestbook feature previously available. Unfortunately, spammers had started to post frequent messages and, until this is resolved, the feature will be disabled.

Range Hours for 2009/2010 Hunting Season

The board of directors has unanimously decided since over 80 percent of the membership uses this facility for shooting pistol, rifle and shotgun practice, Pistol range #1, the Rifle range and Shotgun range will remain open from Dawn to Dusk the remainder of the year. The back two pistol ranges #2 & #3 shall remain restricted use from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm from October 1st, until hunting season ends December 31, 2010 unless we must close due to inclimate weather. No hunting will be allowed within 300 yards of all ranges. This uses approximately 3 acres of club property leaving 180 plus acres for hunting along with the adjoined Morgan/ Monroe State Forest’s 25,000 acres.

July 2009 Workday Project

We had just the right turnout Saturday, July 18th for our work day project to add on to the Rifle range shelter house. From start to finish our volunteer members showed their professional building skills and we have a terrific addition to our shelter for years to come. We will also have an additional shooting bench coming soon to have 4 under roof. Posts were also sunk into ground at the shotgun range for future throwers to be installed. A special thank you goes out to Chuck Stein, John Holloway, Dave Ralich, Craig Goralski and Tony Mihalis who helped on this project! Special thanks goes to Craig Goralski for taking these pictures during the process (This Director forgot his camera)!
